Dr Johannes Wehrmeijer, a new orthopaedic surgeon started in our Hospital of Orthopaedic Doctors since 31st of May 2011. Dr Johannes Wehrmeijer is a specialized hand and foot surgeon with 30 years of experience while working in hospitals in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark. Dr Wehrmeijer has participated in numerous training programs and courses in hand and foot surgery worldwide. He has worked as an instructor in foot surgery during training programs of DAF, a section of the German Orthopedic Society, he holds a European Diploma in Hand Surgery of the FESSH since 1999, a DAF Certificate Foot Surgery since 2000 and CCDP Turin Certificate Foot Surgery since 2001. With his extensive knowledge and experience Dr Wehrmeijer is also specialized in treatment of musicians, with their specific occupation-related medical problems.

Dr Wehrmeijer has a license nr D07450 from Health Board to work in Estonia. He is going to perform both consultations as well as surgeries in The Hospital of Orthopaedic Doctors. While Dr Wehrmeijer is also working in the Hand Surgery Center of City Private Hospital in Copenhagen, he has consultations in Estonia twice a month.
